Third-party information

The Town acts as an information relay between organizations, government entities and residents. It provides residents with local and regional information. Because of the Town’s Official French Status, third-party information must be provided at a minimum in French to be relayed by the Town. The Town does not translate third-party information.

By-laws are provided in French only, and are the sole "OFFICIAL TEXT"

Municipal By-Laws made available here can be read and printed strictly for private, informative and non-commercial use. It is forbidden to modify, alter, reproduce, translate or adapt in any way the total or partial content of these documents. The only valid copies of these reports are those formally certified by the Town clerk, Nathaly Rayneault.

Job offers

Because of Saint-Lazare’s Official French Status, job offers are only available in French. According to the Quebec government’s employment and French quality policy in Public Administration, la Ville de Saint-Lazare offers a unilingual work environment. Applicants must be able to read, speak and provide services in French.
