Tree trimming - Tree branches pickup advices
SAINT-LAZARE (Québec), June 23, 2010

Ville de Saint-Lazare wishes to remind their residents doing tree trimming works that they should discard tree branches in the following way.

Tree branches will be picked up as long as they are wrapped up in bundles no longer than 1,2 meters (4 feet), no larger than 0,6 meters in diameter (2 feet) and as long as each branch does not exceed 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter. They may also be put in garbage bags or boxes. Bundles, garbage bags or boxes must be left alongside the owner’s property during garbage pick-up hours.

The Town does not offer any special collection or chipping service for tree branches. Residents must get rid of these either through the regular garbage collection service or by retaining, at their own expense, the services of a company specializing in these types of services.
