Ville de Saint-Lazare invites all children to participate in a theatre workshop given in French on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. and in English at the Saint-Lazare Community Centre (1301 Rue du Bois) at 2:30 p.m.

A professional puppeteer for more than 20 years, Jacques Boutin has taken part in thirty or so puppet theatre productions as a designer and a performer. He has given more than two thousand shows in Quebec, Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. Jacques Boutin has been taking his puppets on the road for the past several years, holding performances and workshops specifically geared towards young audiences. Today, he gives a one-of-a-kind theatre workshop using a large cardboard box to give shape to a show that will come to life before our very eyes. Have your scissors and glue ready and let the show begin!
