Those who are presently registered in Saint-Lazare's car-pooling programme will therefore need to register at saint-lazare.covoiture.ca.

From now own, those who are interested in car-pooling will be automatically rerouted to this new tool, which offers its users a wider range of services including:

·	free registration for the car pooler;
·	a personal card which can easily and temporarily be deactivated at any time;
·	a high level of confidentiality regarding personal information;
·	a e-mail exchange service integrated within the site;
·	access to a map showing points of departure and destinations, as well as satellite views;
·	automatic matches based on outward/return trips instead of the more difficult search for partners on a “bulletin board”;
·	the search by town and by itinerary; and
·	access to a wider base of partners that extends beyond Saint-Lazare residents.
