Temporary car shelters Français
Authorized from October 15, 2011 to April 15, 2012
SAINT-LAZARE (Québec), October 3, 2011

Ville de Saint-Lazare would like to mention to its residents that temporary car shelters are only authorized in the parking area for the period extending from October 15th to April 15th of the following year.

No permits are required to install temporary car shelters.

Temporary car shelters can only be used to store vehicles and can only be set-up on driveways or parking spaces. A minimum distance of 2 metres (6.6 feet) from the sidewalk or roadside or outer limit of a ditch must be respected.

Temporary car shelters must be removed prior to April 15th. After this date, offenders are liable to fines ranging between $100 and $1000 per day of infraction. Citizens wishing to denounce such infractions may do so by contacting the inspection officer Marco D’Antonio at 450-424-8000, extension 245.
