Dog tags mandatory, not an option Français
The permanent dog tag, valid for the life of the dog, is now available at a cost of $ 25 at the Town hall reception located at 1960 chemin Sainte-Angélique. If you are unable to come to our offices, we will gladly send you one or several tags by mail upon receipt of the duly completed form, entitled “Médaille d’identité pour chien / Dog tag”, and accompanied by your check payable to Ville de Saint-Lazare located at 1960 chemin Sainte-Angélique, Saint-Lazare, J7T 3A3. To obtain the form, contact the reception at (450) 424-8000, ext. 221.

The form is also available on the Town’s website.

Tags are also sold at the Hôpital vétérinaire Saint-Lazare located at 2050 chemin Sainte-Angélique in Saint-Lazare.

In case of loss or damage and with a proof of receipt, the permanent tag can be replaced at the Town Hall at a cost of $ 10.

Please note you must obtain a tag according to By-law no. 600 concerning the control of dogs. A dog tag allows the Town, the animal control officer and residents who find a wandering dog, to identify it quickly and to reunite it with its owner. For additional information consult the Town Website at ville.saint-lazare.qc.ca/animals or call (450) 424-8000, ext.221.
