Making musical instruments out of recycled materials on Saturday, April 16
Saint-Lazare’s Library is inviting kids aged 4 to 7 (parents must accompanied their child) to a workshop Making musical instruments out of recycled materials on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. in French and at 3 p.m. in English. This activity will be held at the community centre (1301 Rue du Bois).

To celebrate Earth Day, Chantal Drouin, Stéphan Daigle and Annouchka Gravel Galouchko will hold a workshop introducing children to creative recycling. They will be given the opportunity to turn ill-assorted objects into percussion instruments such as rattles, various types of drums, maracas, bongos, rain sticks, etc. They will then be asked to decorate their new instruments before giving a little concert accompanied by pianist Chantal Drouin.
