1.6 Voting at the office of the Returning Officer

Voting at the office of the Returning Officer is available to voters of the Town of Saint-Lazare as part of a pilot project.

The Town’s participation in the project was authorized through Resolution No. 03‑112‑17.

An agreement was entered into by the Directeur général des élections du Québec, the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Occupation du territoire and the Town of Saint‑Lazare.

Other participating municipalities throughout the province include Beloeil, Gatineau, Montréal, Rivière‑du‑Loup, Saint Georges and Thetford Mines.

The option of voting at the office of the Returning Officer is available at the Town Hall, at the following dates and times:

    Friday, October 27, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (without interruption)
    Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (without interruption)
    Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (without interruption)
    Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (without interruption)

The Town Hall is located at 1960 Chemin Sainte-Angélique.

A single polling station is available for all districts, at the times indicated above.

The election management team invites those who are unable to vote at advance polls on October 29, 2017 or on Election Day, November 5, 2017 to use this option.
