2017 Health Challenge: another success!

www.defisante.ca: the Town congratulates all the participants

From March 30 to May 10, participants were invited to perform simple 3 daily actions, in order to achieve 3 objectives:

- Goal 5: Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day;

- Goal 30: Move at least 30 minutes a day. And for young people, it's at least 60!;

- Objective Balance: promote your sleep every day.

The Town invites you to keep these objectives in mind, and apply them all year long!

Location : Westwood Junior High (2800 Rue du Bordelais)
Starting Tuesday, January 9, 2018

Tuesdays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Fridays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Only the nets are supplied. Please bring your own racket.

Drop-In Soccer


For all ages starting October 2nd
Complexe sportif (1850 Rue des Loisirs)
$2 per person / $1 for elders


Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Wednesday:  3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday : 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. 


Bring your ball, no teams accepted during the Town’s drop-in activities. Friendly games only.



Important notice

The turf surface has been fully replaced at the Complexe sportif de Saint-Lazare.

Gum, food and drinks will be prohibited near the surface, and only players with proper shoes will be allowed on the turf. 



Tennis & Pickleball

Residents can get a key in order to use the tennis courts at the Service des loisirs et de la vie communautaire (Recreation department).

Cost are as followed:
15 $ per family- 2 keys
10 $ per adult - 1 key
8 $ for senior (60 years old and over) - 1 key
5 $ per child (under 18 years old) - 1 key

There is no other fees for the tennis court reservation.

Residents may reserve a court from May to September ( depend of the weather, for example, early winter). Reservation must be done 24 hours ahead and before 4:30 p.m. at Service des loisirs et de la vie communautaire (Recreation departement) at 450-424-8000 ext. 220 or online.

Only one hour per day can be reserved. To play on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, reserved the preceeding Friday. Children under 16 years old may not reserve a court after 7 p.m.
