Snow fest
Fête des neiges will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday January 26, 27 and 28, 2018.

Full programming will be announced in January 2018.


Friday, January 20, 2017

At 7:00 p.m. – Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing under the stars

Parc nature les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare (2800 Chemin Lotbinière)

Dogs are forbidden on the site.


3 options for cross-country skiing trails • Beginner (1.7 km) • Intermediate (3.8 km) • Advanced (6.3 km)
Snowshoeing trail: 3 km
Reserve your equipment online ($) (quantities are limited, first to register get priority).
Participants must provide their own headlamps.
Single departure at 7:00 p.m., latecomers will not be accepted.
A free snack is offered after the activity.

From 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. – TEEN DANCE
For Grade 7 and 8 high school students. Cost: $1. At the Community Centre (1301 Du Bois Street).

From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Club Optimiste On-Ice Challenge for 6 to 21 year olds

Free registration on site (participation prizes)
Come encourage participants as they take on the Club Optimiste On-Ice Challenge, which includes an obstacle course, puck shooting and passing, etc. Participants must bring their own equipment to take part in the different challenges (skates, hockey stick).

**Several participation prizes will be drawn at the end of the day.  

 

From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. – Cross-country skiing challenge for 4 to 15 year olds  

Come challenge yourself to a race against the clock! How fast can you complete our cross-country skiing trail?
Prizes awarded per age category (4 to 6 years; 7 to 9 years; 10 to 12 years; 13 to 15 years)

 

From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Outdoor activities

  • Free skating (with music)
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides
  • ATV rides
  • Dogsledding rides
  • Cross-country skiing
  • Snowshoeing
  • Tubing (9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.)

 

From 10:00 a.m. to Noon and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. – Introduction to shooting in collaboration with the Club de Biathlon Vaudreuil-Soulanges

 

From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Ice-sculpting workshop

From Noon to 2:00 p.m. – Family snowshoeing and yoga activity  – If too cold, this activity will be cancelled.

From 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. – Cardio-Sleigh

From 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. – Cardio-Workout

From 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. – Skating and tubing under the stars

At 8:30 p.m. – Fireworks

At 9:00 p.m. – Bonfire
