On May 22, the Interim Mayor , Brigitte Asselin along with the organizers of the farmers’market, Isabelle Juvien and Alain Bellemare gave the kick-off for the second edition of the farmers’market in Saint-Lazare.

After a conversation with the organizers of the farmers’market, the Interim Mayor and Councillor Brigitte Asselin and Michel Lambert went from booth to booth to greet and welcome local merchants for the summer season.

"I want to thanks the organizers and merchants of the farmers’market of Saint-Lazare for their participation, because buying locally is important." Exclaimed Brigitte Asselin, Interim Mayor of Saint-Lazare.

The farmers’market will therefore be held every
Tuesday from May 22, 2012 to October 9, 2012:
• From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. from May to August;
• From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. from September to October

The Town wants to make clear that the management of the farmer’s market is the entire responsibility of the organizers which are its only promoters and administrators.

Several producers have already confirmed their presence:
Au canard l'artisan, Aux Gourmandises d'Hudson, Boeuf Newtine, Douceurs chocolatées, Érablière des Roy, Farines Biofile, Ferme Chatrac, Ferme Ménard, Kryka-Les vergers d'autrefois, Maison Piol, L'Anse au Sable, L'Antrepot, Les Jardins Glenorra, Les Petites Écores, Miel McCaig, Peppermaster, Ruban Bleu fromagerie, Savons de Légendes, Zee Company, les jardins Normandeau, la ferme just, Fleur de glace, les thés ochado and many others.
