The countdown has begun!
The Town of Saint-Lazare is getting ready to receive thousands of people
from all over to celebrate the historic passage of the Olympic Torch on
its territory and is hoping to see you amongst those celebrating this
historic moment! Indeed, the Olympic Torch will be passing through
Saint-Lazare on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 on the 40th day of its 106-day
journey on Canadian soil, which will end on February 12th, 2010 in
Vancouver for the official opening ceremony marking the beginning of the
2010 Olympic Winter Games.
What a great opportunity for you to surrender to the Olympic Games fever
and to rally all family members and friends to attend the event! Let
yourself be seduced by the irresistible message of peace, hope and
brotherhood and come experience this historic event with us
on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of
Saint-Lazare’s Town Hall (1960 Chemin Sainte-Angélique).
Don’t miss the music, braseros (fires in barrels), hot coffee and chocolate,
entertainment, activities and kiosks!

will be distributed to our first visitors!
