Emergency Exits Français
People, who enter an apartment building or a public building for the first time, must be able to see emergency exits immediately. Building owners are responsible to ensure those emergency exits are clear of any obstacle and doors can easily be opened from the inside. This rule equally applies to private residences. If you notice a potential fire hazard in a public building, inform the owner right away, the fire department or one of the Régie du bâtiment du Québec’s office in your area.

You have questions or worries,
call the Service de sécurité incendie at 4509 424-1114.
