Snowy Fire hydrants Français
SAINT-LAZARE (Québec) – December 19, 2011

Do not obstruct fire hydrants
It is forbidden in any shape or form to obstruct, hamper, or limit access, maintenance, repairs, snow clearing, visibility and use of fire hydrants in case of fire.

Note that according to the by-law, it is forbidden to place, to plant or to let grow shrubs, trees, hedges or any other plantation, to install a fence or any other structure preventing free access in a 1-meter diameter around the fire hydrant and between any fire hydrant and the street or the public road. If you see a fire hydrant whose access has been limited (shrubs, snow, etc.) call us at 450-424-8000, ext. 250.

We’ll send someone immediately. Please think “safety” for all, all the time! You have questions or worries; call the Service de sécurité incendie at 450-424-8000, ext. 207.
