General information Français
Le Service de sécurité incendie began its operations in 1984. It had at its disposal a pump truck, a tank truck and a van. Firemen's boots and hoses were second hand and were old stock from the Montreal Fire Department. The pump truck was of 1967 vintage and the tank truck was an old milk truck dating back to 1973. There was a fire department director, an assistant to the director, three lieutenants and 21 firemen.

Today the Service de sécurité incendie personnel includes a Director, Assistant-Director, 4 captains including a preventionist, 4 Lieutenants and 20 firemen.
