Open air fires
Open air fires are still forbidden except on agricultural territory for agricultural purposes. It is possible to have an open air fire (recreational fire) without a permit under the following conditions:

Use untreated and uncoated wood;

and
|
· |
Light the fire in a non-combustible container with a maximum surface area of one square meter,
a minimum height of 10 cm and a maximum height of 60 cm;

Place the container at least 3 meters away from any property line and combustible material;

OR
|
· |
Light the fire in a non-combustible container with a maximum surface
area of .5 square meter that is specifically designed for this purpose
and equipped
with a chimney and a fire screen.

Place it at least 2 meters away from any property line and combustible material.

At all times, open air fires (recreational fires) must be controlled,
watched closely and kept inside the non-combustible container or fire area.
Combustible materials
Wood and one of its by-products, paper, are the only combustible
materials allowed. It is forbidden to burn grass, dead leaves, household
garbage, tires and any other material.
