Ville de Saint-Lazare wishes to mention to its residents that they can consult a detailed list of all the addresses where there will be a garage sale during the weekend. In fact, startint at 5 p.m. on Friday, residents can consult Town web site at ville.saint-lazare.qc.ca/garagesales.

It is mandatory to obtain a permit for a garage sale. Garage sales are allowed on two (2) occasions in a calendar year by civic address. Each garage sale is authorized for a maximum period of three (3) consecutive days at the applicant’s address. The cost of the garage sale permit is ten dollars ($10). A garage sale can only be advertised using a maximum of three (3) directional signboards sold by the Town. Directional signboards can only be posted forty-eight (48) hours preceding the garage sale and must be removed twenty-fours (24) hours following the garage sale. Reusable directional signboards are sold by the Town’s Service d’urbanisme et zonage at a cost of $10 each.
