Do not plant snow markers…
less than 5 feet from the edge of the public pavement. This minimum distance is required for all other town approved installation (landscaping, structure, fence, support wall, shrub, etc.) as well as the recycling bin and domestic wastes. Anything within the 5 feet range can be damaged by the snow clearing crew.

No metal snow markers PLEASE
Please do not install metal snow markers. They damage equipment; get stuck in blowers and delay clearing operations. Furthermore, when markers are buried under the snow, they become A REAL DANGER for children who can injure themselves, pierce limbs, their stomach, or even an eye. Instead, us plastic or wood markers.
