Monday July 31st was fire protection day for day camps in Saint-Lazare.
The apprentice fire fighters Jean Larose Boyau and Chef presented a
40 minute show on the theme of safety tips for children. The show included
a trampoline, a smoke filled tunnel and blow up games.
There were two presentations ; One at the Auclair school and one at
Evergreen school. The children were invited to practice the tips they
had learned during the show and had a chance to manipulate fire hoses to
“cool off” their friends. They were also treated to a view inside a fire truck.
A good time was had by all. This day was produced in collaboration with
the service des loisirs de la Ville de Saint-Lazare.
