SAINT-LAZARE, Québec, May 16 2011
The Town of Saint-Lazare is very pleased with the high rate of participation in its draw for a rain barrel. Once again, Saint-Lazare residents have shown that they are determined to reduce their consumption of potable water.
For the second spring in a row, many residents entered the draw for the chance to purchase a barrel at a low cost thanks to a grant from the ECO IGA Fund. Among the 465 entries, 125 names were randomly drawn by the Projets Saint-Laurent/Jour de la Terre organization. The lucky winners will soon receive an e-mail asking them to pick up a barrel for only $15.
