SAINT-LAZARE (Québec), September 7, 2010
The closing celebration of the summer 2010 reading book club took place on Thursday August 26 at the library of the City of Saint-Lazare. The young readers saw their efforts rewarded by an evening full of emotions. More than 230 children have participated in the reading book club this summer.
During the course of the evening, many prices have been handed out for the pleasure of all. Later, the children got the chance to approach and manipulate exotic animals. Reptizoo Fine Line Serpents were demonstrating wild animals such as snakes, iguanas and other reptiles. The demonstration was both safe and spectacular. Finally, the youngsters danced, sang and played on the rhythm of the tam-tam with the Zale Seck troop of percussionists. The city of Saint-Lazare wishes to thank all participants heartily for this remarkable evening.
