The city offers a wide range of activities to entertain your children during school break.

March Break Day Camp

 

The day camp opens its doors from Monday, March 4 to Friday, March 8, and offers a variety of workshops for children from kindergarten to grade 6.

  • Monday, March 4 - Great science experiments
  • Tuesday, March 5 - Snowshoeing and discovering nature
  • Wednesday, March 6 - The sugar shack
  • Thursday, March 7 – Reptiles
  • Friday, March 8 - Apprentice animators and Lego
 

Themed activities

 
Magic Show (full)
Monday, March 4: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
For children aged 6 to 12. Free, registration required.

Build a Stuffed Animal (full)
Tuesday, March 5: 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
For children aged 5 to 12. Free, registration required.

Jedi Experience and Lightsabers
Wednesday, March 6: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
For children aged 6 and up. Free, registration required.

Building a Lego City
Friday, March 8: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. - noon
For children aged 6 to 14. Free, registration required.

Sports activities


Get active with the whole family at the Complexe sportif, with several additional time blocks during March break for skating, playing ice hockey or practice sports on the artificial turf.

You'll also be able to test your sports skills during guided activities on Tuesday March 5 on the skating rink and Thursday March 7 on the artificial turf.

You can also take the opportunity to visit the outdoor rinks in the city's parks. Don't forget to check their condition and status before you go. This page is updated daily!


Training courses 

DAFA (Diplôme d'aptitude aux fonctions d'animateur) 
Monday March 4 to Friday March 8: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Theoretical training for all day camp animators and those wishing to become one!
15 years old and over. Free, registration required.

Staying home alone 
Tuesday, March 5: 1 - 2:30 p.m.
This parent-child training course teaches children aged 9 to 12 how to safely look after themselves at home.
Offered in French only. Free for residents. Registration required.

Babysitting course
Thursday, March 7: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Training for children aged 11 and over who are interested in babysitting or who are already babysitters.
One course in French, one in English. Fees apply. Registration required.
