New summer terrace and historical exhibit at Espace des Muses
The City of Saint-Lazare has officially inaugurated the new summer terrace at Espace des Muses, a revamped public space designed to foster community gatherings in an inspiring cultural setting. Developed through a public-private partnership with the Microbrasserie des Trois Lacs, this project aims to strengthen citizens' sense of belonging while ensuring responsible use of municipal resources.
As of now, residents can enjoy:
-
Live performances every weekend, from June through September;
-
A bar service (including non-alcoholic options);
-
Outdoor games in a cozy urban atmosphere at the heart of the village.
The evening also marked the launch of the summer pop-up exhibition celebrating the City’s 150th anniversary, created in partnership with the Société historique de Saint-Lazare. This visual showcase highlights eight key milestones in the city’s history through graphic and photographic panels.
Mayor Geneviève Lachance took the opportunity to recognize the work of the recreation and public works teams, as well as that of private partner Michel Chen, owner of the Microbrasserie Trois Lacs, who initially proposed the idea of a summer terrace.
Residents are warmly invited to visit the terrace and take part in the full summer program, available on our activities' calendar.
