Following the ice storms, Ville de Saint-Lazare officially declares a state of emergency.
What does that mean?
This extraordinary and temporary status will allow the City, among other things:
- To grant special authorizations, intervention measures and derogations for the rapid execution of works;
- To make expenses and contacts if deemed necessary;
- To requisition emergency means and private accommodations if necessary;
- To request the help of any citizen able to assist the workforce.
