Stables Open House for Horse Day

Equi-Libre Therapeutic Riding Centre provides equine assisted therapy, recreation, sport and learning programs for people with disabilities in order to positively contribute to their cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being. Our goal is to provide equestrian activities on the ground and on horseback adapted to the needs of each individual in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

We provide a safe, comfortable and caring environment for horses in need of a second chance or simply a peaceful retirement. We promote rehabilitation and, where possible, facilitate rehoming. For some, Secours AHT will become their forever home.

We currently have 12 horses from a variety of backgrounds. Some are retired from the Montreal carriage industry, the SPVM and from competitions. Others come from the private sector.

Louise and Mario are waiting for you at their farmhouse where you can meet two Arabian horses (Aisha and Akaz) and a miniature horse (our little Tyler). You will also be able to visit our henhouse and spend time with our rabbit (coconut) and our two faithful companions Maggie (wheaten terrier) and Sam (bichon frise). We look forward to seeing you!

Join us for Stables Open House Day at Celestine Stables, where the magic of ponies and the joy of young riders come to life! We cater to young riders of all ages (as little as one year old), and during your visit, you’ll get to see our amazing students ages 1 to 14 riding and enjoying time with their ponies. You might even get the chance to brush a pony or hop on for a quick ride! Come see what makes our barn so special, meet the animals, and get a feel for the fun, nurturing environment we create every day.

Our facility has a capacity of 46 horses. Our boarders are multi-talented horses who enjoy reining, dressage, show jumping, pleasure riding and trail riding. We are fortunate to be one of the few stables in the region with direct access to the Club Équestre Les Forestiers trails. Our primary goal is to give our horses the best possible care, in a relaxed and safe atmosphere.

CMG is a boarding center, established in 2018, for competition and pleasure horses. In addition, we offer weekly riding lessons for people who don't own their own horse. Chris and Michelle have both been in the equestrian industry for over 20 years here in Saint-Lazare. Now officially back in the area, we are happy to offer our services for all ages and abilities.

MD Stables offers lessons & training with certified coaches as well as boarding services. We specialize in show jumping and pride ourselves in providing holistic care to the horses & riders.

Chalk Farm Stables is a boarding stable and an equestrian center and that specializes in horseball, as well as dressage and show jumping. We love to share our passion for horses and our staff is constantly improving to offer the best to both horses and riders.

A horseball (basketball on horseback) demonstration will take place at 11 a.m.

Founded in 1990, the Saint-Lazare Driving Club is a venue for those who share an interest in both touring and competition driving. The Club strives to promote and develop ideas and projects that advance the skills, safety and understanding of the art of driving.

A demonstration of long rein exercises will take place at around 1 p.m. Depending on the number of participants, children or adults can brush the horses.

We are a small hobby farm in Saint-Lazare, where we take care of four horses and a unicorn pony. You will have the opportunity to pet the horses, play in a small park, and deepen your knowledge of these wonderful animals.
