Ville de Saint-Lazare Honoured by AIPH with Certificate of Merit for 2024 International Green City Awards

The spring of 2024 began with a major international recognition for the Services de l'environnement et des travaux publics: the Association Internationale des Producteurs Horticoles (AIPH) recognized Ville de Saint-Lazare as one of seven recipients of its prestigious Certificate of Merit in the International Green City Awards 2024.

The Service de l'environnement had submitted its application to the prestigious awards in order to compare its environmental initiatives with international standards. This recognition not only validates Saint-Lazare's innovative efforts, but also underlines its commitment to sustainable practices.

The City's application put forward a holistic approach aimed at protecting and restoring forest areas, while creating green spaces that promote biodiversity. This commitment enabled Saint-Lazare to re-join six other prestigious award-winning cities, including Tel Aviv and Dubai.

This honor reflects Ville de Saint-Lazare's unwavering commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future for its residents, while setting a benchmark for future progress.
