Fonds de développement des communautés
The Fonds de développement des communautés is a new concept to facilitate the support of projects intending to improve the quality of many facets of life in the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Operating as a one-stop shop, the Fonds is at the doorstop of the various funds managed by the MRC (Fonds de développement des territoires, Fonds de la Politique de développement social durable, etc.) and available for use by the initiatives and stakeholders of the Politique de développement social durables (PDSD). PDSD’s priorities for intervention To be eligible, a project must meet at least one of the 17 objectives related to the seven intervention priorities.
Territory of Application Projects taking place in one or more of the 23 municipalities of MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges are able to put forth calls for project proposals. Eligible Developers The following key players may make a request:
- Municipalities;
Municipal bodies;
Non-profit and incorporated organizations, non-financial cooperatives.
Govermental or paragovernmental (insitutional) bodies are not considered to be eligible, but these noted above represent potential partners relevant to the establishment of the PDSD. This includes educational committees, schools, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest, Emploi-Québec, and unions.
Important Dates
A webinar will be held on March 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to provide as much information as possible to those interested in participating in the call for projects and to answer any questions. Register now on Eventbrite by clicking here.
Those wishing to submit a project have until March 17, 2023 inclusive to complete the Intent to Submit form (available online). Thereafter, proponents will have until April 12, 2023 inclusive to complete their submission.
