Spring has sprungs… and the public works too!

April 12, 2023

This week, three (3) sectors of our beautiful city will experience the start of public works.

Frontenac

The sanitary sewer connection work was launched yesterday with complete closure of certain streets – as published on Info-works last week. Consult the section dedicated to the follow-ups of this sector with just one click. Don't miss a beat and visit the page regularly to avoid uncomfortable surprises.

Place Verdé

A new recreational trail will be created in the area of Place Verdé to allow walkers to connect to the larger trail system. Work will take place between Tuesday April 11 and Saturday April 15, 2023.

The final route was determined based on minimal tree cutting. We remain committed to a healthy balance between environmental protection and accessibility to green spaces.

Ensemble immobilier Bonaventure

The area covered by the following streets will experience an increase of heavy truck traffic beginning today, Wednesday April 12, 2023, as wood clearing works are starting: Rue de Bonaventure, Rue de la Salle, Rue Sébastien, Rue du Cerf, and Rue du Cristal.

Over the next few weeks, the developer will be preparing the area for construction of municipal infrastructure (sewers, water and roads).

The works should last for about three (3) months. For more information, please contact the Infrastructure Department, Special Projects at 450-424-8000 ext. 299. A project manager will return your call as soon as possible.
